With a background as Queens College adjunct professor, Alex Ramadanis is a longtime New York educator who consistently encourages positive achievement. A motorcycle enthusiast, Alex Ramadanis currently owns a Triumph and is the past owner of a Buell motorcycle.

One unique project focused on American manufacturer Buell’s sports bikes is the Ronin 47, which was recently undertaken by Ronin Motorworks in Denver. As reported in Maxim, the project involved stripping plastic bodywork from Buell 1125 motorcycles in ways that highlighted the striking metal hardware underneath.

In addition, engineering changes were made in this limited edition run, including the replacement of telescopic forks with a girder-style front suspension. The water-cooled radiator, which helps maintain the integrity of the V-twin engine, is now mounted in the spot where the headlamp typically resides. The muffler has been redesigned and placed in a prominent spot, while all-solid-state electronics have taken over what physical relays between electrical parts and lights once accomplished. A handlebar mounted Motogadget instrument panel allows the rider to access timely performance readings and control the system.

With only 47 of these functionality-meets-aesthetics bikes produced, the list price is just under $40,000 for a fresh interpretation of the Buell brand.
